This practical one-day workshop will focus on the application & integration the Estill Model in traditional singing teaching. We will look at common vocabulary used in teaching singing, analyse and offer practical exercises to address the most common problems found in the teaching studio. The Estill model gives teachers a clear physical explanation, demystifying the terminology around singing training and reducing the focus on the ear and imagery.
The day’s program will include an overview of the Estill Model, common problems encountered in singing studio – and the Estill solutions. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion and information on structuring lessons with an Estill focus. The afternoon will conclude with a masterclass.
Suitable for: Both those new to and those familiar with Estill, anyone who teaches singing or who is a singer, either professional or student.
If you would like to take part in the open coaching – if you are singer, a student (or teacher who would like to nominate a student) please contact Essential Voice.
